How do I send files?
To send files, simply click Upload Files, then click the "browse" button next to "File 1:". After you choose your first file, you will be given the option to choose additional files. When you are finished, click "Click Here to Upload your Files"
Is this service really free?
Yes. There is no charge to use SwiftFile.
Why is SwiftFile secure?
SwiftFile is a secure way to send files for several reasons:
  • The connection to this site is encrypted. This is easily visible by the https:// in the address, and by the lock icon you will see in your browser
  • Passwords are stored using a one-way hash algorithm
  • The original password is required to decrypt file data, so even the creators of SwiftFile cannot read your file data if a password has been set.
  • Even during an authenticated session, each end of the connection (your computer and our servers) only has half the information required to decrypt the file data. So, even someone who has our source code would not be able to view your file data.
Why should I trust that the files are stored using the methods described above?
The source code for this site will be available here shortly. In the meantime, please feel free to Contact Us with any questions.
Can I link directly to my files, or embed them?
Currently, you can not link externally to your uploaded files.
